Mohamed bin Zayed meets French Defence Minister


ABU DHABI, 27th August, 2013 (WAM) — His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, met today with French Defence Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, who is currently visiting the UAE as part of a regional tour.




Sheikh Mohamed welcomed the French minister and his accompanying delegation and praised the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.




The meeting touched on means to further enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in the defence and military fields. Also discussed were the latest international and regional developments, as well as issues of mutual interest.




The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Deputy Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, Major-General Isa Saif Abalan Al Mazrouei, and Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei.
