Whoopi Goldberg backs Raven-Symone and Michelle Collins for ‘View’ spots

NEW YORK, May 23 (UPI) — The View moderator Whoopi Goldberg has hinted at who she would like to see as permanent co-hosts of the daytime chat show.

Actress Raven-Symoné and comedian Michelle Collins have been frequent guest panelists since Rosie O’Donnell left the program in February.

Goldberg announced on Thursday Collins and Raven-Symoné — that day’s guest co-hosts — would also be back Friday.

“We are trying to make it permanent, so write in to everybody,” Goldberg urged the audience and viewers.

Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace joined longtime moderator Goldberg and returning co-host O’Donnell on the panel this season.
