Sattahip district police chief Phawat Lertmukda said Jakarerk Mukpradap, 39, allegedly gave 11 of the pills to the staff at a relief center at a local temple. Jakarerk, who was apparently under the influence of drugs at the time, allegedly told the staff they could sell the pills for $95 and give the money to the people affected by floods in eastern Thailand, the Bangkok Post reported Monday. Jakarerk allegedly admitted he was arrested for drugs previously in Rayong. "I want to do good deeds and help people," Jakarerk said. "I took five yaba pills before coming here," he added, referring to pills made of methamphetamine and caffeine.
