Broward Schools Superintendent: No Opting Out of Obama Speech

Miami Herald: After receiving dozens of complaints from parents who didn’t want their children to be forced to watch the speech, the Broward schools superintendent issued a ruling Thursday: There will be no opting out.



“It’s an important event,” Superintendent Jim Notter said.
