Priest Found Dead in Rectory of NJ Church

WNYW: The body of Reverend Edward Hinds, 61, the pastor of St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church on Washington Avenue, was found Friday morning. The body had wounds “consistent with a homicide,” according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi and a preliminary autopsy.



Hinds was found on the kitchen floor of his residence after he didn’t show up for morning Mass at the church, NJ.com reported. He was wearing his ceremonial robes.
