Boehner: Congress Needed to Counter Obama’s Iran ‘Deal at Any Cost’

Tuesday at the GOP leadership press conference, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) said Congress “absolutely” needs to weigh in on the conditions of a nuclear deal with Iran to balance the Obama administration’s attempt to get a “deal at any cost.”

Boehner said, “From everything that I heard about the so called framework, all it is an agreement to keep talking. I haven’t seen anything concrete come out of this yet.”

He added, “Congress should absolutely should have the opportunity to review this deal. We shouldn’t just count on the administration who appears to want a deal at any cost.”
