Pelosi: Hillary ‘Will Be Not Only the First Woman, But One of the Best Qualified’ to Enter the Oval Office

Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” House Minority Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton “will be not only the first woman, but one of the best qualified people to be enter that Oval Office.”

Pelosi said, “In the absence of other news. with all do respect to the Democratic National Convention I don’t think it matters to most people who the chair of the committee is. What matters is what the vision is of our candidate for president and how that affects them and their lives The ballot, legislation, your life, Martin Luther King framed it that way. What’s important and consequential is Hillary Clinton will be not only the first woman, but one of the best qualified people to be enter that oval office.”
