David Corn: Trump ‘Aided and Abetted’ in Putin’s Election Interference

Saturday on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” Mother Jones Washington bureau chief and MSNBC analyst David Corn accused President Donald Trump of having “aided and abetted” Russian President Vladimir Putin in tampering with the 2016 election.

“It becomes clearer and clearer every single day that Donald Trump aided and abetted Putin’s operation against [the] United States and the election. Throughout the whole summer and even after the election, after the U.S. government said it was Putin doing this, and that it was a Russian operation, he kept denying it was happening. That’s the same thing as aiding and abetting. It’s like being outside a bank robbery and saying nothing is going on when you know what’s going on inside. And that’s the big sin here, it goes even beyond the financial stuff. He helped this operation,” Corn told host Joy Reid.
