CBS News edited out a verbal slip from former president Bill Clinton about Hillary’s health in an interview with Charlie Rose that aired Monday evening.

When asked if Hillary’s fainting episode on Sunday was a sign of a more “serious” illness, Bill Clinton said that was not the case.

“Well if it is, it’s a mystery to me and all of her doctors,” he said, “because frequently — well not frequently, rarely, but on more than one occasion — over the last many, many years, the same sort of thing has happened to her when she got severely dehydrated.”

Clinton was about to say Hillary “frequently” has fainting spells but then corrected himself to say it “rarely” happens.

According to Mediaite, the bolded section was edited out with a shot of Rose nodding, covering the slip-up.

After Sunday’s fainting episode, Hillary Clinton cancelled her scheduled appearances at campaign events in Las Vegas and California. Bill Clinton is expected to be in her place at those events.
