'Occupy Unmasked' Stars Remember Andrew Breitbart's Kindness in Times of Turmoil

When Brandon Darby, Anita MonCrief and Lee Stranahan learned the truth about the left, Andrew Breitbart was there to lend a hand.

The key players behind Occupy Unmasked, the 2012 documentary exploring the roots of that violent, far-left movement, testified to Andrew’s kindness during a tribute to the late media mogul at CPAC last night.

The aforementioned group, all of whom formerly resided on the left, got a helping hand from Andrew when they needed it the most.

Darby, a former radical, recalled how the left personally attacked him after he questioned their tactics and helped the FBI track violent protesters. Andrew was different, he said, someone who offered to use his media platform to protect Darby from future attacks.

“For no good reason he promoted me and not himself,” Darby said, choking up as he shared his story.

MonCrief, a former ACORN employee, recalled how Andrew’s publication of damning investigative footage about the organization changed her life. Hold on, something big is coming, she recalled him saying about the pending publication at Big Government.

“Instead of [me] being sued, ACORN was bankrupt and on the run,” she told the crowd.

Stranahan testified to both the left’s moral center–they booed God at the Democratic National Convention–and the seemingly dormant Occupy movement’s future.

“Anonymous is the new Occupy,” Stranahan said.
