In response to the shooting at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountain (PPRM) released a statement that said, “extremists are creating a poisonous environment that feeds domestic terrorism in this country.”

Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, tweeted messages of support for PPRM, also asserting that Planned Parenthood provides “safe and supportive” environments:
