RABBIT EARS MAKE A COMEBACK TO SUPPLEMENT STREAMING

WSJ:

With an increased array of online video programming now drawing viewers’ attention, companies are starting to pitch consumers on complementing online video streamed from the Web with broadcast-TV signals as a way to save money on cable subscriptions.

If it gains traction, this trend could undercut part of the rationale for selling off TV spectrum in voluntary auctions, approved by Congress on Friday, aimed at freeing up spectrum for wireless broadband.

Bundled cable programming is a scam, a way to force us to pay for anti-American programming that mocks our values and who we are. If you pay for cable, you are subsidizing OWN, Current TV, MSNBC, among many others …

For America, cancel your cable today!

EDGAR WRIGHT IN NEGOTIATIONS TO DIRECT JOHNNY DEPP IN “THE NIGHT STALKER”

Horrible, horrible idea. Darren McGavin IS Carl Kolchak. You can’t reproduce that any more than you could reproduce Jim Rockford, Fred Sanford, or Ralph Kramden.

My apologies for a weak Call Sheet. About two hours ago the flu hit. The good news is that I was going to take tomorrow off anyway. The bad news is that I’m probably going to be sick as a dog on a day off.

I think it’s food poisoning. Who gets food poisoning on Ash Wednesday?
