'The Newsroom' Season 2 Trailer: Occupy Wall Street Lives

When we last left heroic, truth-telling Republican anchor Will McAvoy he was telling viewers the Tea Party was the American Taliban.

Just another day in the office for liberal storyteller Aaron Sorkin and his HBO drama The Newsroom.

The trailer for the show’s second season, which starts July 14, gives us a hint of what’s to come–the return of Occupy Wall Street.

The rag-tag movement, which one character on the show says could be America’s “Arab Street,” will rise from the ashes for season two, part of the show’s focus on semi-recent events. Too bad OWS couldn’t live long enough to watch its own glory days.

We’ll also see Will suffer the fallout from comparing the peaceful, patriotic Tea Party to one of the ugliest political movements in modern history. He hardly sounds sorry for what he says in the new trailer.
