Dem Rep Equates Federal Immigration Raids With Kidnapping

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) said the following on a conference call organized by activist group Reform Immigration for America on April 22, 2010

“…the government has said, ‘We’re going to make your parents disappear. We’re going to vanquish them. We’re gonna come one day, we’re just gonna kidnap them.’ For kids, that’s what’s happening. Their parents have disappeared. They’re kidnapped. These agents of the federal government show up at their door and their parents disappear.”
