Kerry on Iran: We Are ‘Daring’ to Take ‘Controversial Risks’

Tuesday while testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on the 2016 year budget request, Secretary of State John Kerry acknowledged there are “some risks,” but the Obama administration is “daring to believe diplomacy,”  during their  “controversial,” negotiations with Iran.

Kerry said, “The fact is that on Iran, sure its controversial, may have some risks, but we are daring to believe diplomacy may be able to provide a better alternative to ridding Iran of the possibility of a nuclear weapon than a war. Or going first to threats that lead you to confrontation.”
