On his Wednesday radio show, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh reacted to the Fox Business Network debate the night before, in particular the performances of presidential hopefuls Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) and former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL).
Limbaugh expressed his disappointment in their stated immigration positions and for pushing back against those who were more hawkish about enforcing immigration laws and securing the U.S. border.
“[Kasich] and Jeb – I just don’t get it,” Limbaugh said. “Well, no — they’re running against the will of the people trying to establish themselves with much bigger hearts, much more compassion. They’re running as Democrats. Jeb and Kasich may as well have been espousing the Democratic position last night during the Republican debate and they’re wondering why things aren’t working out.”
