Watch: Rangers Goalie Henrik Lundqvist Goes on Tirade in Game, Knocks Over Goal

New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist snapped Thursday night in his game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

In the second period, the star goalie was knocked over by teammate Ryan McDonagh, who was also going after the puck, and he lost his stick in the corner.

That is when things began to unravel for Lunqvist.

As play continued on the other end of the rink, an upset Lundqvist tried to get the officials’ attention to stop play.

Unsuccessful in trying to get the officials to stop play, Lundqvist knocked over the goal as the puck came back to his side, forcing the officials to stop play. And forcing them to call a “delay of game” penalty on him.

Lundqvist then allowed three goals in a 99 second-span and he did not return for the third period, with coach Alain Vigneault citing neck spasms after his collision with McDonagh.

The Penguins went on to defeat the Rangers 4-1.
