Rudy Giuliani: ‘I’d Like to See Donald Make Some Serious Changes to His Organization’

Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani explained his decision to vote for Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump, but not fully coming out with an endorsement for the GOP candidate.

When asked, he acknowledged he was voting for Trump and suggested others do likewise.

“No question about it and I urge everybody else to do the same,” he replied.

On his decision to not formally endorse Trump, Giuliani said he did not want an official role with the campaign and he felt that Trump’s organization needed “some serious changes.”

“The difference is real simple,” Giuliani said. “Donald is a personal friend. I believe he is the best candidate. I think he’ll make a very good president. I’m not part of his organization. I don’t want to be a [surrogate] or take on whatever the organization says or does. Frankly, I don’t know them … If you endorse somebody, you sort of take on the organization and I’d like to see Donald make some serious changes to his organization for his good.”
