While speaking to reporters on Thursday, President Trump denied that he knew about the $130,000 payment made to Stormy Daniels or where his attorney, Michael Cohen, got the money to make the payment came from.
One of the reporters asked, “Did you know about the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels?”
Trump responded, “No.”
Trump then responded to a question on why Cohen made the payment. He said, “You’ll have to ask Michael Cohen. Michael is my attorney. And you’ll have to ask Michael.”
Trump was then asked, “Do you know where he got the money to make that payment?
Trump responded, “No, I don’t know.”
