Friday, MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough reacted to Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) impassioned speech during Supreme Court associate justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
According to Scarborough, Graham has changed since the late John McCain passed away, going from his “wingman” to now being President Donald Trump’s “carnival barker.”
“First of all, Lindsey Graham has gone from being John McCain’s wingman in politics to becoming Donald Trump’s carnival barker,” lamented Scarborough. He continued, “He had an audience of one a month after John McCain, a guy who worked with Ted Kennedy, who worked with people across the aisle who was attacked for actually trying to have the political courage to be bipartisan. And look at Lindsey Graham now. I hope he’s proud of himself.”
