CNN’s Kucinich: Judiciary Committee ‘Kind of a Really Long Fox News Segment’

Friday on CNN’s “New Day,” political analyst and Daily Beast Washington bureau chief Jackie Kucinich weighed in on Ivanka Trump’s usage of emails as a member of the Trump administration amid the House Judiciary Committee issuing subpoenas for former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former FBI Director James Comey.

“Jackie, do you think the Judiciary Committee, in addition to relitigating Hillary Clinton’s emails, will they be looking into Ivanka’s Trump’s emails?” host Alisyn Camerota asked.
Kucinich responded, “You know, Alisyn, I don’t think they are going to.”

“Why is that?” questioned Camerota.

“It just doesn’t seem like that is where their focus is,” Kucinich stated. “Never mind there’s been an inspector general’s report looking into Comey and Lynch and other investigations into Hillary Clinton’s emails, but that’s not where their focus is. We are at a point, particularly in the House, where it’s kind of a really long Fox News segment at this point that’s going on in the Judiciary Committee. That said, I would imagine that the incoming Congress will be looking into not only what happened with Ivanka Trump, but the whole plethora of instances in the Trump administration.”
