Clyburn: I’ll Vote for Whatever the Conference Committee Presents to Congress

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Situation Room,” House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) stated that if Democrats and Republicans on the immigration conference committee come together to present something to Congress, he will vote for it.

Clyburn said, “I have no idea what’s going on in that room. But if they come out there with a common approach, I don’t care what it is. If the Democrats and Republicans come together on that conference committee and present something to this Congress, I will vote for it, irrespective of what they call it, irrespective of how it looks, so long as a common ground is reached among them.”
