Thursday on CNN’s “New Day,” Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) said that despite a recent network poll showing fewer Democrats support impeaching President Donald Trump, his stance remains the same.
CNN’s Erica Hill pointed to the poll, asking Yarmuth, “Does that change where you stand at all based on the public?”
“No,” Yarmuth replied.
The congressman has been a large proponent of impeachment, having said earlier in March that it is not a question of if Trump will be impeached, but “a matter of when.” He also advised the impeachment process had already begun.
