Tuesday on CNN’s “The Lead,” 2020 Democratic presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden coughed into his hand, causing a concerned host Jake Tapper to correct the former vice president’s hygiene habits.
After Biden coughed, Tapper said, “You know, you’re supposed to cough into your elbow, sir. I learned that actually covering your White House.”
Biden said, “No, actually, that’s true, but fortunately, I’m alone in my home. But that’s okay. I agree you’re right.”
Tapper continued, “It’s kind of old school to do it with your hand. Do it into your elbow. You’re supposed to do it.”
Biden replied, “Thank you.”
