NBC's Affiirmative Action For '30 Rock' Elites About To End

“30 Rock” is the “Daily Show/Colbert Report’ of NBC.

It’s a show the elites and their media allies love, so it not only stays on the air but gets the kind of media attention much, much more popular shows can only dream of.

This, of course, is just another way in which the media creates a false reality through the use of their corrupt powers to pretend something they like is mainstream.

When the truth is actually this … “30 Rock” was never popular, never a mainstream hit, not even close.

Season one of the show ranked #102. Subsequent seasons ranked 94, 69, 86, and 106 respectively. Now we’re in season six and show has somehow found a new bottom.

Finally, it looks as though this affirmative action program for shows loved by elites might finally be coming to an end:

The end of “30 Rock” is nigh. Series star and creator Tina Fey appeared on “The View” (weekdays on ABC) and told the ladies Alec Baldwin isn’t leaving early, despite his tweets trashing “Today,” but the end of the show is on the horizon.

“As far as I know, he’s not leaving the show. We’re all in this together ’til the end.” Fey said. “I think that he just maybe means that the end of the show — we’re in six years — that the end of the show is visible on the horizon. We’re all still on the show.”

Both Fey and Baldwin are signed for Season 7, if NBC renews the long-running comedy. According to EW, the show will likely get a seventh and final season.

Of course, one more shockingly low-rated season will have to come first.

Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are two of the most divisive celebrities out there. Mainstream America simply doesn’t want to spend time with them.

Doesn’t matter, though, because the entertainment industry isn’t about the money.

Besides, this is NBC. Might be that Obama likes the show and promised another infusion of stimulus funds to parent company, GE, if they throw the woman who trashed Sarah Palin another season.
