Sir Christopher Lee Releases Annual Heavy Metal Christmas Song

Sir Christopher Lee, best know for his roles as Dracula, Francisco Scaramanga, and Saruman the White in the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit movies, has released a holiday single, just weeks before Christmas.

In what has become an annual tradition, the 92-year-old British Knight and distinguished metalhead has released the track, titled “Darkest Carols, Faithful Sing.”

The tune is a playful take on the old classic “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”

“Jingle Hell,” Lee’s 2013 Christmas single, peaked at #18 on theBillboard charts. For that, Lee has the honor of being the oldest musician toever chart on Billboard.

You can purchase the single, along with an extended and instrumental version, on iTunes, or at Amazon

The video below features a sample of the track, as well as a few ballads from previous years.
