A Florida artist painted portraits of President Donald Trump on his hurricane shutters to prepare for Hurricane Dorian as it moved its way toward the Sunshine State.
“Keeping America Great while keeping my house safe!” artist Jeff Sonksen said of the shutters, which he happily painted in support of the president.

Sonksen is an ex-carpenter turned artist based out of central Florida who took the chance to make art when he lost his job as a carpenter during the economic downturn, according to his website.
Sonksen used fence pickets and paints to make his hurricane shutters, with one showing Trump saluting to the words “Keep America Great,” while the other showed two portraits of Trump with the catchphrase “Drain the swamp.”
A third hurricane shutter showed Trump hugging an American flag with the words “God Bless America” imposed over the painting.
The shutters brought attention to the neighbors, who complimented them after the artist asked, “Do you like my hurricane shutters?”
“I love your hurricane shutters,” the neighbor responded.
The artist’s work has not only brought attention to his neighbors, but it has also gained attention on social media. The video of him showing off his work was viewed more than 118,000 times as of Wednesday afternoon on Twitter.
