May 9 (UPI) — Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brent Suter hit a 433-foot home run off of Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber in a 3-2 victory against the Cleveland Indians.

The ball left the yard Tuesday at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisc. The Brewers led 2-1 when Suter stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the third inning to face-off against his mound counterpart.

Kluber tossed in an 88.8-mph slider with his first offering. The 6-foot-5 Suter turned on the pitch, sending the very deep fly ball to center field and giving the Brew Crew a 3-1 edge.

The Indians cut into the deficit when Francisco Lindor hit a solo shot off of Suter in the top of the fifth inning.

Suter allowed five hits and two runs, while tossing five strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work. He earned his second victory of the season with the performance and now owns a 4.86 ERA.

The Brewers starter went 1-for-2 at the plate and is hitting .200 in 2018. Tuesday’s shot was the first home run of Suter’s big league career.

He also made a great diving catch in the second inning, getting a double play off of a Kluber bunt attempt.

“I see [Kluber] pitch on TV all the time, because he’s kind of must-see TV,” Suter told reporters. “So I went up there, saw the ball up a little bit, kind of put the bat on the ball, and after that, it was just Cloud Nine, like ‘Angels in the Outfield.’ It was fun. Man, it was a good time.”

Kluber allowed five hits and three runs, while throwing four strikeouts. He is now 5-2 with a 2.62 ERA this season.
