Disney to release ‘The Incredibles 2’ in 2019

ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 8 (UPI) — Disney announced release dates for The Incredibles 2 and other films Thursday.

The studio revealed dates for a slew of animated and live-action movies, including its forthcoming Marvel projects. Ant-Man sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp was one such film slated for 2018.

+ Coco, an animated Pixar collaboration, will open Nov. 22, 2017

+ An untitled, live-action fairy tale will open Dec. 22, 2017

+ Black Panther, a Marvel collaboration starring Chadwick Boseman, will open Feb. 16, 2018

+ Gigantic, an animated movie, will open Mar. 9, 2018

+ Toy Story 4 will open June 15, 2018

+ Ant-Man and the Wasp will open July 6, 2018

+ An untitled, live-action fairy tale will open Nov. 2, 2018

+ Captain Marvel, a Marvel collaboration, will open Mar. 8, 2019

+ An untitled, live-action fairy tale will open Mar. 29, 2019

+ An untitled, Disneytoon Studios movie will open Apr. 12, 2019

+ The Incredibles 2 will open June 21, 2019

Cars 3, Toy Story 4 and The Incredibles 2 garnered excitement from fans anxious for the new installments. Cars and its sequel earned $1.02 billion at the box office, while the popular Toy Story series has grossed $1.91 billion. The Incredibles raked in $631 million alone.
