Emily VanCamp gives birth to first child

Aug. 27 (UPI) — Emily VanCamp and her husband Josh Bowman have announced the birth of their first child, a baby girl.

“Welcome to the world our sweet little Iris. Our hearts are full,” VanCamp said on Instagram alongside a black and white photo of the actress holding her newborn’s hand.

VanCamp and Bowman kept the pregnancy a secret. VanCamp also uploaded photos of herself with a baby bump.

The couple met on the set of Revenge in 2011 and started dating that same year. VanCamp portrayed Emily Throne on the ABC series, with Bowman as Daniel Grayson.

VanCamp, 35, and Bowman, 33, got married in December 2018 in the Bahamas.

VanCamp currently stars on Fox medical drama The Resident and reprised her role as Sharon Carter in Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in March.
