Kate Hudson says dating Danny Fujikawa is ‘really amazing’

Sept. 28 (UPI) — Kate Hudson says dating boyfriend Danny Fujikawa is a “really amazing” experience.

The 38-year-old actress couldn’t help but gush about her romance with the musician in an interview with E! News published Wednesday.

“[It’s a] really amazing, calm relationship,” she said. “He makes me happy.”

Hudson said she felt an immediate spark with Fujikawa, the stepbrother of her friends Sara Foster and Erin Foster, after they reconnected last year.

“I’ve known him for many years, but we never saw each other like that until a year ago now — well, last December, where we just sort of looked at each other and went, ‘Oh, wow. This is weird. I really like you’ and the rest is history,” she recalled.

Hudson and Fujikawa attended the New York premiere of the actress’ movie Marshall on Sept. 23, where Hudson debuted her shaved head on the red carpet.

“He’s the best! I’ve known him for a long time,” she said of Fujikawa while speaking to Entertainment Tonight.

Hudson and Fujikawa were first linked in March after they were spotted kissing in New York. The pair made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Los Angeles premiere of Hudson’s movie Snatched in May.
