Lottery numbers 1-3-1-3 result in 1,832 winning tickets

Jan. 15 (UPI) — The North Carolina Education Lottery said 1,832 winning tickets are due $1.74 million in prizes from a Pick 4 drawing that resulted in the winning numbers 1-3-1-3.

Lottery officials said the traditionally unlucky number probed lucky for 1,832 players, who will each receive $2,500 for a 50-cent ticket or $5,000 for a $1 ticket.

All told, $1.74 million in prizes are due to be paid out from the drawing.

“Whatever four numbers you pick, the odds of matching exactly all four in a Pick 4 drawing are the same: 1 in 10,000,” the lottery said in a news release.
