Santa ejected from sleigh during Disneyland parade

Dec. 17 (UPI) — A visitor to California’s Disneyland was shooting video of a Christmas parade at the park when they captured footage of Santa taking a tumble.

The video, filmed during a parade at the Disneyland resort in Anaheim, shows Santa Claus riding in on a sleigh situated atop a float.

The sleigh abruptly lurches forward, spilling Santa and his bag of gifts out of the passenger area.

“At first we thought it was part of the show then we realized Santa was being held by a chain that was keeping him from falling to the ground,” the filmer wrote. “Everyone was stunned and confused. He was hanging there for a few minutes. Finally, he came down and waved to everyone laughing with his traditional, ‘Ho, ho, ho!’”
