April 30 (UPI) — Pulp Fiction and Mission Impossible actor Ving Rhames has been released from a hospital after collapsing at a California restaurant Wednesday afternoon.
“He sounded like everyday Ving and cracked a joke over the phone,” his manager Brad Kramer told Variety, adding that the star had been discharged from a medical facility just hours after treatment.
Kramer told USA Today Rhames may have been overheated, but now “feels fine” after the incident.
TMZ reported the 66-year-old actor was eating with his family when he collapsed at the table.
The entertainment news website said paramedics arrived and took Rhames to the hospital because he was slipping in and out of consciousness.
