Producer and director Chuck Lorre will host a $16,700-per-person fundraiser for President Obama at his Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles home on June 18, according to Variety.

Billed a “discussion,” the event at the Two and a Half Men creator’s home in the affluent beach community, which is also home to stars like Ben Affleck, Reese Witherspoon, Tom Hanks, and Steven Spielberg, will coincide with another June 18 fundraiser held at the home of Tyler Perry, which Obama will headline.

Money raised at the home of Lorre will go to the Democratic National Committee’s 2016 White House Victory Fund. The Perry event will raise money for the Democratic National Committee, and tickets will start at $2,500 per person.

Chuck Lorre’s event is described by Variety as an “intimate, living room style event” with only 30 people but a chance to have “an open dialogue and discussion with the President.”

According to an invite obtained by the industry news site, “Democrats in all 50 states are working in neighborhoods and communities to advance issues like job creation, education, health care, and clean energy.”

The invite adds:

But we need the resources to put Democrats in office to move our country forward. Since we do not take money from special interests, corporate lobbyists, and political action committees, we must rely on dedicated Democrats like you.

Hillary Clinton will visit in Los Angeles on June 19, the following day, for another three-swing fundraising trip, her second to the city since announcing her candidacy.
