‘Young Sheldon’ Producer Chuck Lorre Despairs: ‘Screw It. Liz Cheney 2024’

Left-wing Hollywood TV producer Chuck Lorre appears to be despairing over President Joe Biden and the lack of appealing Democratic alternatives for the White House in three years. In what is clearly a joke, his production company has added it “Screw It. Liz Cheney 2024” to the end credits of his sitcoms, including “Young Sheldon” and “Bob Hearts Abishola” on CBS.

CBS’ sitcom United States of Al hasn’t premiered yet but the Chuck Lorre-produced show is already coming under attack for its portrayal of its Afghan protagonist, who is played by a non-Afghan actor. The controversy has become so acrimonious that series executive producer and former CNN personality Reza Aslan has publicly defended the show against the attacks.

‘Mom’ Stars Launch Campaign for Planned Parenthood

The stars of CBS’s Mom are launching a donation campaign to support Planned Parenthood. Actresses Allison Janney and Anna Faris, along with series co-creator/executive producer Chuck Lorre, are kicking off their campaign to support the abortion industry giant in place of spending funds on an Emmy FYC campaign, reports Deadline: Hollywood.
