On June 6, a Caseyville, Illinois man allegedly told his ex-girlfriend he was coming to get her, then kicked in her trailer door and was subsequently shot and killed.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m.

According to KMOV.com, the man–24-year-old Christopher Crim–allegedly brought two friends with him to help attack his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. All three allegedly invaded the trailer, attacked the girl and the boyfriend, and were then marched outside by the boyfriend’s armed brother.

Crim is alleged to have then gone to his car, retrieved a blunt instrument, and headed back toward the trailer to attack the boyfriend and girlfriend once more. He was shot before he made it back inside.

Police arrived to find his body in the yard. Crim was rushed to the hospital but pronounced dead.

His alleged accomplices–22-year-old Anthony Pentecost and 25-year-old John Fox–have both been charged with “felony home invasion and felony mob action.”
