After one elite NFL quarterback essentially endorsed Donald Trump for president, the billionaire politician endorsed another NFL quarterback with the “elite” tag.
“I think Joe Flacco is actually a very elite quarterback,” Trump told a Twitter follower Monday morning. “He won a Super Bowl. He did it really to a certain extent with that great arm of his. I would say, absolutely, he is an elite quarterback.”
The former New Jersey Generals owner also weighed-in on Tom Brady putting up the most passing yards in a single game against the Bills in Buffalo franchise history and the “not good news” surrounding Tony Romo’s collar-bone break. The billionaire expressed interest in buying the Bills last year and repeatedly voiced support for Brady during the Deflategate saga. Brady responded in kind by displaying the candidate’s campaign hat in his locker and revealing his hope that his wealthier friend win the presidency.

The football questions came amid queries surrounding the candidate’s stance on gun control, trade, and other more traditional political issues. The questions about Flacco comes amid concerns in Baltimore surrounding the 0-2 start of the Ravens.
