Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton is vowing to fight for President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty for illegal immigrants.
Clinton said on Twitter Friday that she will fight for Obama’s Deffered Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) program that he announced unilaterally last year. The program gives out amnesty to illegal immigrant parents of “anchor babies” born in the United States.
I will fight for DAPA so millions of children won’t fear coming home to empty houses. Strengthening families means keeping them together. -H

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit put a hold on DAPA’s implementation earlier this month in a case predicated on the program’s questionable constitutionality. A federal court in Texas issued a “nationwide injunction” against the program in February.
