Speaking at the Democratic National Convention, Dallas Texas Sheriff Lupe Valdez called for a moment of silence for fallen police officers.

“Please help me in honor of all the American fallen officers with a moment of silence,” she said.

“BLACK LIVES MATTER!” yelled a handful of delegates before Valdez introduced Jennifer Louden and Wayne Owens, family members of a fallen law officer.
