VIDEO: Crocodile Dives into Pool to Interrupt Couple’s Late Night Swim

A couple’s late night swim in a lodge’s pool in Africa was interrupted after a crocodile leaped into the pool to join them.

CCTV footage captured on camera the 6-foot crocodile creeping up on its victims who escaped without any serious injuries, the Daily Mail reports.

The man quickly jumps out of the pool, leaving the woman alone to defend herself against the crocodile splashing around in the water. He later steps back into the pool to scare the croc away from her.

The woman was able to escape onto the edge of the pool with a few bites from the croc after the man intervened.

The clip is believed to have been recorded in Zimbabwe, southern Africa, on Friday and shows the people watching the CCTV footage in shock.

Over 11,000 people have watched the YouTube video with many commenters disgusted at how quickly the man left the woman in the pool.
