Retired Air Force Col. and candidate for the U.S. Senate in Louisiana Rob Maness talked to Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Matt Boyle about media attempts to link David Duke to Republicans, including Donald Trump.
Maness said, “One of the things is, they’re lazy. The guy makes for good copy. That means more viewer hits. That means more revenue. And these reporters are lazy. They don’t want to dig into the facts.”
He continued:
They don’t want to dig into the facts that of the top two front runners [in the Senate race], one of them is the only one that’s a Republican in the state that takes David Duke on. It’s documented all over social media. You can see that. But the mainstream media hasn’t done one story on that. They didn’t do a story on the confrontation I had with him at a forum last week, where I called him out for being a racist and a fascist and a Nazi that he is because they’re trying to tie him to the story of Donald Trump. And it’s just not true.
Maness went on to state he is supporting Trump and that he believes Trump will secure the border, adding that “that’s the number one thing.”
