In a rare disclosure, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) revealed that a long-classified electronic warfare unit has played a “significant” role in intercepting waves of Iranian drones, thwarting dozens of UAV attacks using advanced digital countermeasures since the war began.

Iran’s state-controlled PressTV on Monday quoted officials from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) who claimed they launched “hypersonic missiles” at Israel on Saturday night and that the fast-moving weapons were able to evade Israel, the U.S., and all of their allies to strike their targets in Israel.

Israel confirmed the “landmark” sale of the Arrow 3 hypersonic missile defense system to Germany on Thursday, in the country’s single biggest military deal worth $3.5 billion.
