Human Rights Advocates Call for Release of Prisoners from North Korea

In an op-ed published Monday by the South China Morning Post, former North Korean detainee Robert Park urged President Donald Trump to keep the plight of North Korean prisoners in mind when he meets with dictator Kim Jong-un. Park seconded a U.N. official’s call for the Kim regime to issue a general amnesty for political prisoners during or soon after the summit.
