A Somali refugee in the U.S. was sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of molesting a teenage girl at gunpoint.

Abdirahman P. Sahel, an 18-year-old refugee from Somalia, was convicted on sexual assault charges for an incident stemming back to August 2013, according to the Grand Forks Herald.

While in the parking lot of the Fargo Holiday Inn, Sahel threatened two teenage girls with a handgun he was holding, eventually forcing one of the girls to perform a sex act on him while holding the gun to her head.

Now, the Sahel will sit behind bars for at least 20 years in a U.S. prison, with prosecutors saying that the two girls have been traumatized by the assault.

This was not Sahel’s first run-in with the law. The Somali refugee was also convicted and sentenced to 12 years in prison after he attacked a woman in another parking lot in September 2014. For that incident, Sahel was convicted on charges of robbery, attempted kidnapping, assault and terrorizing.

After completing his sentence, Sahel is expected to be deported back to Somalia.
