Ann Romney: We Never Expected Media To Play Fair

Ann Romney reluctantly entered the 2012 presidential circus with both eyes open with regard to the main stream media’s treatment of her and her husband.

In an interview with Brian Wilson, Bryan Nehman and Larry O’Connor on WMAL’s “Morning’s on the Mall” Mrs. Romney acknowledged that after the 2008 campaign for the GOP nomination she said she would never go through the process again.  Part of the reason for her reluctance to re-enter the political arena was the harsh and dishonest treatment from the press, according to Mrs. Romney.

Asked about the media’s treatment of Gov. Romney compared to their coverage of President Obama, Mrs. Romney said, “Whenever you’re in politics you know it’s never going to be fair.”
