KCRA: An accidental butt-dial landed a pair of Oklahoma burglary suspects in jail. The men broke into a home in McAlester last week, grabbing money, jewelry and a gun before hitting the road, sheriff’s officials told Tulsa TV station KJRH. But their plans hit a snag when 23-year-old Payton Seth Brewer accidentally butt-dialed 911. As shocked Pittsburg County dispatchers listened in, the pair talked about their crime and what they had stolen, according to Tulsa TV station KOTV. “We’re good, I got enough jewelry, we’re good,” one man said, according to KOTV. Dispatchers notified deputies, who traced the call and arrested Brewer as he was trying to sell the jewelry at a pawn shop. His accomplice ran from the scene and remained on the loose.
