NASA Heads Back to the Moon

WPMT: On Friday Sept. 6th, NASA returns to the moon with the launch of the Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer or LADEE mission. For the first time, NASA will study our moon’s curiously dusty atmosphere. NASA scientist Jim Green joins us to talk about the mission, why scientists want to solve the mystery of the moon’s atmosphere, and how the information could help them learn about the other planets in our solar system.
