O’Reilly on GOP Moderator Complaints: ‘These Guys Got to Stop Whining’

Tuesday on NBC’s “The Tonight Show,” Fox News Channel host Bill O’Reilly offered his reactions to the moderators of last week’s CNBC debate, which have been criticized as being unfair to those candidates for Republicans.

According to O’Reilly, those moderators went beyond being tough to the point they were hostile, which he argued defeated the purpose of the debate in some ways. However, he advised the GOP field to “quit whining” and use other outlets to attack those moderators if any of those candidates felt they were treated unfairly.

“The next debate is next Tuesday on the Fox Business Channel,” O’Reilly explained. “And so they’re prepping now for it. I think you’ll see a different presentation. But as we said in the opening stuff, these guys got to stop whining. I mean, they got – if you think you’re being treated unfairly, you got a microphone – let them have. Let them have it. That’s why Trump is ahead in the polls because he just says what he wants to say and he takes on all comers and the folks want to see what you’re made out of.”
