Monday night at a town hall in New Hampshire, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was confronted by a supporter who was “disheartened” by her remarks at the CNN debate that she was proud Republicans are her enemies.

Clinton was asked, “For the first time in all of the times I listened to you, you said, the Republicans as your enemies it was  disheartening. I’m not asking you to retract it. What I am asking you is when you are president, will you please extend the olive branch because we are all Americans?”

“I agree with that,” Clinton said. “You know I was answering — I think they sometimes view me that way, like the Iranians etc,” adding, “I know how to find common ground. I know how to stand my ground, and I think that is how we need to go at it.”
